Ek Din

Ek din chalo yun hi, kahien jana na ho,
kitne quadam koi thikana na ho,
Barish ki boondon ki fuhaar, tumhara sath,
aur pyar ki ek dheemi si ankahee si baat,
gili ghas ko pairon ki ungaliyon se masalte hue,
is fikra mien ki ye mausam bhi na guzar jaye badalte hue,
hawa sard ho, main tum mien simat jaun,
tum sath ho to aur kahan jaun,
kyo na dil ki ye muraad bhi nikhar jaye,
unki bahon mien jindagi basar jaye,
suno hawa mera itna kaam to kar do,
unki khushboo se meri sanse bhar do,
aye ghataon mujhe jee bhar ke pal de do,
ek aisa hi kal de do .
